Welcome to our CaringBridge website for our beautiful Robyn. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Robyn was rushed by ambulance to the hospital on September 20th, 2016. She had a hypertensive brain bleed (stroke) caused by a sudden, extreme blood pressure spike. After being hospitalized for almost 4 months, Robyn was transferred  on January 10th, 2017 to Life Care  Center of Gwinnett in Lawrenceville,  GA for rehabilitation. Robyn returned to the hospital on January 31st in respiratory distress with needs for treating her trachea for effective breathing, and as of May 4th, 2017, she resided at Traditions Health & Rehabilitation for rehab.

On May 10th, 2018, Robyn had recovered enough and had enough physical therapy to come back to our hone on Lilburn, GA! Though she still has serious left side weakness/paralysis, she he is able to walk with a hemi -walker and perform many personal functions. Robyn has a caregiver that assists her everyday and God blessed us with an organization called Money Follows the Person that found over $20,000 of funds and resources! Robyn was able to transition home with a motorized wheelchair, a stair lift, widened doorways, grab bars, motorized furniture and sooo much more!

We appreciate your payers, your support, and your words of hope and encouragement.
