On Friday, February 17, Robye was struck by a car, crossing the street in Frisco, Texas while attending the WOGA Classic gymnastics meet. Her daughters, Sam & Addison, were with her when this horrific accident occurred and both girls were able to escape the accident with little or no injuries. Sam was not hit and Addison's crutches took the impact of the side-view mirror. Robye suffered multiple fractures to her pelvis, back and knee as well as a dislocated shoulder. She has a long road to recovery and this site has been established to keep everyone informed on her progress. Feel free to leave messages, prayers and well wishes here for her.

A huge shout-out and thank you to all of the emergency responders, paramedics, police & fire. The compassion and care shown on scene was top notch! A special thank you to Officer John Hock who was first on-scene (as a bystander) and attended to Robye while waiting for emergency services to respond to the scene. His compassion, calmness & thoughtfulness kept Robye from injuring herself further as she tried to check on her girls.

Robye is currently hospitalized at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas. She is being taken care of by an amazing Trauma and Surgical team.
