Rob Loud

From Gwyn: Since we may not get Christmas cards out on time this year I thought I should at least let you know that Rob’s health is declining noticeably. His congestive heart failure is worse, which we have known since June, but rather suddenly he has become much weaker in terms of ability to move around, get up from chairs, etc. He spends much of the day in bed but so far has been able to come downstairs for a few hours. We started with hospice this week, which should be a support for all of us. Rob’s spirits are good and he is not in pain and wonders what all the fuss is about! MIranda is around a lot and is a huge help, The Zugs have cancelled a ski trip and will come up on Sunday.
I am feeling very sad, but am grateful that I have these precious remaining weeks or months to be with my dear Rob. We will update this site periodically as things change.


By the way, the photo above was taken on December 12 when we were watching a hilarious video of Victor Borge! Rob's sense of humor is intact.
