Just a quick update, my dad's surgery did not begin until 10:45am. We expect him to be out of surgery at approximately 4:45pm. As of 4:55pm, still awaiting to talk to the doctor. The receptionist confirmed that he is out of surgery. 5:37pm still waiting to hear from the doctor. 5:40pm we just talked to the doctor, and everything went really well. They are moving him to the ICU. We will get to see him in about an hour.
We finally got to visit him at 8:00pm, and he is doing great for being run over by a Mac Truck. We were talking about running a marathon, and adding gin to his IV. The nurse is not giving him any slack, she is actually going to make him walk tomorrow. With a little bit of luck, we are hoping that he will be moved out of ICU tomorrow. Nothing is guaranteed though. Thanks for everyone's support, thoughts, and prayers!!!
