Thank you for visiting our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated since I was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of ovarian cancer in June 2017.  After a successful surgery then, I started 6 cycles of chemotherapy to attack any microscopic cancer cells left behind.  Unfortunately, we found out at the end of the that chemotherapy in Dec 2017 that a new tumor had grown.  The cells had been resistant to the chemotherapy.   We are working with our oncologist to come up with a treatment plan which may include surgery, radiation and other chemotherapies that may be effective.   We are trying to stay positive even though our prognosis is very challenging.


I am currently seeking second opinions and trials that may be a miracle for our family.
