Welcome to Robin's Caring Bridge page. This is where we will post updates on Robin's progress in her fight against stage IV Metastatic breast cancer. As you know Robin is a mother to Piper & Arden, daughter, cousin, aunt, friend and so much more.
This is her story. On May 9th, 2019 Robin was diagnosed with Stage 2 TNBC (triple negative breast cancer) BRCA+. She underwent a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation and a deip flap reconstruction surgery. In May 2021 following her last reconstructive surgery, Robin developed a blood clot in her lung which led to the discovery of a lesion on her lung and the current diagnosis of Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. Robin has been accepted into a clinical trial which includes another round of Chemotherapy plus a trial drug starting Monday August 30th. Robin is a fighter. She is incredibly strong and will continue to fight this battle. It will not be an easy path but it will be one that is made more tolerable knowing she has the love & support from all of you.
