Bob's been diagnosed with tongue cancer and the tumor has grown to include his vocal chords. According to the doctors the cancer was found just in time as it is not yet life threatening. On Wednesday July 5, 2017 Bob had to have a trach tube put in because the tumor was blocking is airway, that surgery went well and he is breathing much easier now. He has been given a couple of treatment options, one was to remove his tongue and vocal chords and follow up with chemo the other is to have radiation and chemo together to hopefully shrink the tumor.
