Life is a journey, not a destination. This is something the Buche Family has come to respect. Bob's journey hit a bump in the road on June 14th, 2018 during what we thought was a routine procedure. After a few days that felt like a few years, our family received the disheartening news that he had been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a cancer of the mouth and throat. Over the next several days, weeks and months we expect to learn a lot about life's journey and how life does not always go as planned.
As you probably know, Robert is one of the most private people on this planet. So private that he has told all of us, he's "going dark" for the next phase of his journey. What does this mean you may ask? "Going dark" means he is literally off the technology grid (not that he was really ever on it) and is asking for your support and questions on him and his treatment only through this site. Literally, he has turned his phone into Barb! Go figure....
Sometimes its the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination! Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end!
