Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Our journey began in early summer when I started to suffer from extreme fatigue and blurry vision. This culminated with a trip to the ER on September 28 when I felt like I was having kidney stones. From there on came a month worth of tests and weekly blood transfusions until a diagnosis was made a month later on October 28th that I had Waldenstroms Macroglobolunemia a very rare form on Lymphoma which produces too much IgM protein in the blood causing it to thicken.

We’ve had a rough first few treatments and some scares along the way but we are adjusting, both to life with cancer and to the isolation of the pandemic. But we have had great support from family and friends. A blessing to say the least and we will fight on.
