Rita & Lamar Loveless

First post: Jun 7, 2022 Latest post: Oct 19, 2022
Saturday evening, Rita and Lamar were involved in a severe auto accident in Conroe. Tyson, their german shepard was also in the car at the time. We’re creating this page to be able to send updates to all of those that love them in a consolidated form. The outpouring of support has been so great and we are so thankful for all of the prayers surrounding our Nana/Popsi/Mom/Dad.

Saturday June 4-
Near Loop 336 and Longmire in the late evening a drunk driver ran a red light and crashed directly into the drivers side door of their truck as they were heading to Culver’s to get some ice cream after taking Tyson on a walk at a nearby park. They were taken to Conroe Regional.

We ask for constant prayer for them and the road ahead.

List of injuries (so far) for the ability to pray specifically:
Rita: small brain bleed, broken ribs, broken hand, broken fingers, broken elbow, broken arm, chipped ankle bone, lacerated spleen and liver. Rita is conscious but in lots of pain.
Lamar: fractured skull, broken sternum, punctured lung, broken shoulder, lacerated kidney (just transplanted Jan 2021), fractures in his face, broken ribs, small brain bleed, broken jaw, lacerated diaphragm, broken back. Lamar is intubated and has not been conscious since the accident. This may not be a complete list of his injuries as they are still trying to get him stable before taking next steps and finishing assessing broken bones. He remains in critical condition.

***Please note**** this website lists a place to donate that we cannot turn off or remove. The family is not in need of support in this manor and funds donated via this website do not go to Rita and Lamar.
