Riley Herman

Riley Diane Herman was born on January 21, 2020. She has Down Syndrome and an issue with her heart where the Right side is bigger and getting more blood than the Left side.  After 3 months, Riley came home from the hospital on April 16, 2020.  During the past few years, she has had multiple heart catheterizations, MRIs, and tests to determine the best course for surgery, along with advocating from her doctors and therapists.  She has also had countless doctors appointments with specialists to keep monitoring her growth and health.

On November 14, 2023, Riley underwent a Glenn procedure as step 1 of 2 for giving Riley a fully functioning heart.  She is currently in the hospital recovering from surgery.
