Rick was diagnosed in 2009 with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.  He had done quite well dealing with it until he caught the flu in January of 2015.  He progressively got worse and since January of this year he has needed oxygen 24/7.We began pursuing a lung transplant at the Cleveland Clinic. In the testing for the transplant we also found out that he needed a triple bypass.  He was placed on the list in early April.  We had a 'dry run' on April 24th.  
We received a call on Friday evening that another lung was available.  This lung was usable and he is now in surgery.  Will update when he is out of surgery. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
