On January 4th, Rick suffered cardiac arrest, a small stroke & his heart stopped for 19 minutes. Since then, Rick has been thru a lot, but is doing promisingly & remarkably well. I have updated this Caring Bridge with the daily texts I was sending out while he was in ICU at St Francis. We are eternally grateful for the outstanding response & care given Rick (and our family) by the 911 personnel, the fireman, the EMS crew & his entire medical team & support people at St Francis. They are nothing short of Top Notch in every way. On Friday, January 28th, after 25 days in the ICU, Rick was transferred to Specialty Select, another amazing hospital which is located inside St. Francis. It is the perfect segway facility for Rick between ICU & rehab. We are so thankful for the overwhelming support & love showered upon us by family & friends. I am also very fortunate to have both Remy & DeVere back home in Wichita since January 4th. Please add Rick to your prayer list. God has been good to us!💗Go Team Daddy!
