After a "suspicious" diagnostic mammogram, a biopsy confirmed that I have DCIS. This is early breast cancer. I'll be having surgery in January (most likely), and the specifics will depend upon the results of the 80 genes that are being tested right now. I'll be fine, but the next few months not so much fun. We're going on our first Road Scholar trip, to Costa Rica, December 1-10 first. Can't wait! Larry or I will keep everyone updated here. Please do not mention any of this on Facebook. Thanks!
