Rick Fischer is a beloved husband, father, friend, coworker. He enjoys woodworking, watching movies, and spending time snuggling with his dog Raven.
On March 25th, the whole families’ world was turned upside by finding out Rick had stage 4 adenocarcinoma. This is a type of cancer that develops in the glands that line your organs. They originally found the source of the cancer from the lungs, but since then it has spread to numerous parts of the body.
On March 30th at around 10 PM, Rick suffered a minor stroke and was sent to the hospital. There he underwent several more tests and scans. The doctors recommended to see an oncologist in order to get more answers.
The family is currently in need of prayers as they are going through this unknown and scary time. Keep up with Rick’s day-to-day road to recovery as he deals with this beast head-on.
