Wednesday evening Rick was in an atv accident near his home in Princeton. He was air lifted to North Memorial Hospital. After they stabilized him they found out he had sustained a brain bleed, fractured clavicle, and a C6 vertebrae fracture. The last CT scan showed a small amount of improvement on his brain bleed. His clavicle will heal with time. The fracture of his C6 vertebrae is currently the cause of the most concern. Due to its location and the current amount of swelling, it is not known yet if he will be able to walk again or have fine motor function in his hands. He is able to move his arms and they don't anticipate that to go away.
