Welcome! We're creating this webpage to keep our friends and family informed because we know you care but it is difficult to answer questions repeatedly.  We want to keep up our positive energy,  so we appreciate all your prayers, support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As you may have heard, Rich was admitted to the hospital April 30, 2017 when he had an emergency surgery for severe abdominal pain.  The surgeon removed three cancerous tumors and determined that the cancer originated in his appendix and spread from there.  Pathology reports show he has two very rare types of cancer - appendix and adenoneuroendocrine.

Rich is recovering very well from the surgery and was released in almost half the time expected.  He is now working hard to be strong for the next phase in his recovery.  We will be meeting with an oncologist this week and making plans for which cancer center will best meet his needs.

Please, NO DONATIONS.  Rich has excellent insurance through work and we are blessed by incredible friends and neighbors helping with rides, meals and moral support.   For those who live close by, you can visit: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/e712q2 to help with meals, etc.

Thank you!
