Welcome again family and friends. Unfortunately Rich received the news in February that his cancer has metastisized in his liver. He has a 4cm mass that is going to be removed surgically tomorrow Tuesday April 23rd. He will have a few months of recovery from this serious surgery. Chemotherapy will begin after he has healed a bit from the surgery. We welcome your thoughts, good vibes and prayers...we needed a village to beat this last year and will certainly need it again. Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Rich was diagnosed this past week with Throat Cancer.  As you can imagine, our world was rocked.  After the initial shock has begun to sink in, we are making preparations to help Rich fight this disease and come out a true champion. I will do my best to keep you updated on this site as he begins his journey to good health.  Right now we know he will have a Pet Scan to determine whether the cancer is localized and then on Friday he will meet with his oncologist and radiologist.  His treatments will be at the Cooper MD Anderson Cancer Center in Camden.  He could use all the support and good wishes you can send so please pass along your good thoughts and well wishes to keep his chin up and help him in his fight.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  Til next update...BJ
