Rich's story started this summer with a routine well visit with his Primary care Dr. His blood work showed some concern so we were referred to a Nephrologist then a Urologist then a Gastroenterologist and Oncologist in Seattle. After an ultrasound, 2 CAT scans, an MRI and 2 biopsies which confirmed that he has kidney cancer and it had spread. We then met with an Oncologist in Bell.who had kept in touch with the Dr. in Seattle and together they came up with a plan of treatment, it's called Immunotherapy, Rich had a "port " put in place and we are ready to start treatment. So we are asking for prayers for complete healing and for strength for both of us as we face this difficult time. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place.
