Many of you know that Dick has a number of health problems and that recently he broke his ankle. He had two surgeries to try to set it, but they were unsuccessful and infection set in. On June 2 he underwent a below-the-knee amputation of his left leg. Though recovery will take time, the hope is that he will eventually be able to wear a prosthesis.
Many people have been asking about him, so we created this CaringBridge website to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate so much your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.
