First, we have received tremendous support which is why we had to create this page. It is hard for family to attend to him and update everyone at the same time. Rich was in a very bad car accident Wednesday night coming home from a USWNT game for American Outlaws. He was able to give a bystander my number on scene and was rushed to the emergency room. He was diagnosed to have severe trauma to his body including fractures to his ribs and pelvis, diaphragm was punctured and left lung was collapsed. Head and spinal cord were and are fine. He had emergency surgery to fix his diaphragm and Thursday evening he had surgery on his pelvis.
