Dick was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Monday, January 7, 2019. He started treatment on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He will be in treatment there for at least seven days. His treatment includes Azacitidine chemotherapy and Venetoclax. Hopefully, after the initial chemo treatment he will be able to go home where treatment will continue. For now, we are just waiting to see how well he responds to the treatment and are taking it day-by-day.
