While his opthalmologist was trying to diagnose a loss of vision in his left eye, an MRI was ordered on Thursday, Dec. 8th. On Dec. 9th we received a call from his primary care doctor. The scan found a large tumor on the frontal lobe of his brain. This was followed by a flurry of phone calls and a visit to a neurosurgeon at UW. He has a 8cm tumor they believe is a meningioma and they expect it to be benign. It is the cause of his vision loss. He is scheduled for a craniotomy tomorrow to remove the tumor. It is expected to be a long, but successful surgery. Please add him, his care teams and our family to your prayers.
