As you may know, our beloved DJ has had an especially difficult year.  As of Monday, May 14, he has entered hospice care with the woeful blessings of his wife and children.
We certainly know that DJ is extraordinary!  He is loving, kind, gracious and unfailingly uplifting to everyone he encounters.  His faith and his positive spirit remains intact, despite the pain and setbacks he has endured.  He is a proud husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Going forward, his team of doctors will focus on his comfort, which includes pain management.  Mom is with him each day, and Kay and I have been shuttling, planning, preparing and helping in every way we can.  I will update this page frequently, for as long as it's needed.  Since DJ has friends all over the country, please help me by sharing this with others you think would be interested in knowing his status.
