Sunday, July 8th  Rick was working on his truck when a dangerous combination of a carburetor, gasoline and sparks combined to make a flaming tragic fire burning Rick requiring more than one fire extinguisher to stop the burning flames. We are grateful for the fire extinquishers and the cousin who responded so quickly, grateful for the local EMT's, the paramedics on the intercept ambulance, Howard Young emergency room and the Spirit helicopter team who all played their role in getting Rick to the Miller-Dwan Burn ICU unit in Duluth where he is getting the care he needs to survive and heal. Prayer is the biggest request, wisdom for the doctors and surgeons, for healing and that he feel no pain.
