This is probably one of the hardest things I've had to ever do, but we've been given so very little time. Our beloved Richard was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just 2 weeks ago and was admitted yesterday to Abbott Northwestern because his organs are now failing him. The doctors are trying to figure out what's causing his kidneys to give out but as of now we are praying for a miracle. So many friends and family gathered tonight to be with him and in true Richard form, he was cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. He will be spending another night at Abbott tonight but may be returning home either tomorrow or Thursday for hospice care. We ask for your prayers during this difficult time.
