Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Back in February, Richard began noticing some speech issues from time to time – he was just struggling to complete sentences at times.  He also had a really bad headache one night (which was highly uncommon.)   On March 16th Richard went to the doctor who ran some tests, and they sent him along to a specialist in Topeka on March 21st.   Richard was referred to a Neurosurgeon at KU Med Center in Kansas City on the same day.   Additional testing was completed on Monday, March 27th.  Richard was diagnosed with a brain tumor that will require surgery and follow up treatment.   Please join us in praying for healing for Richard, for wisdom and guidance for his doctors, nurses and staff at KU Med, and for safe travels as his siblings come and go during the next couple months.  What a blessing the love and support of family and friends is during this time.  Philippians 4:6  "Don't worry about anything; instead, PRAY about everything; tell God your needs and don't forget to thank Him for His answers."  Keep on praying!!!
