Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Richard was diagnosed with Liver Cancer in November 2015.  He started chemotherapy treatments in January 2016 and continued to receive treatments until July 2016.  On July 8th dad was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with pneumonia and also suffered a mild heart attack, he remained at Abbott Hopsital for several days.  At home he continued to work with a home health care aide, PT/OT and was able to regain his strength. It was decided in November 2016 to try an Oral chemo thearapy instaed of IV Chemo Therapy- his platelets and red/white cells dropped lower then they wanted so a decision was made to wait to do another round of oral Chemo once those levels went up.  A  2nd dose of oral chemo started on January 18th 2017.  On January 20th dad suffered a seizure and was admitted to the hospital, where an MRI was performed and he was diagnosed with 4 tumors on his brain.
