Dick was diagnosed with ALS ("Lou Gehrig's disease") in January, 2017. He gradually came to the unwelcome realization that he would need to close his allergy practice and retire to the more sedentary lifestyle that his disease was demanding. On June 30th he closed the door on a 38-year relationship with patients who had become close friends at Westbury Allergy in St. Charles and with a faithful office staff who had cemented those bonds. The messages of grateful affection and the farewell visits of so many patients were a source of great joy to both of us!
We welcome your messages of encouragement on this website and certainly your prayers! Keep us posted on what is happening in your lives (Dick always cared about that.) and we will try to keep you updated on his progress too.
