Dick was diagnosed in November 2016 with Major Neurocognitive Disorder, with probable Alzheimer's. He is currently  being treated through the Memory Clinic at Kaiser. He will also be receiving services through the VA, as we are currently registering him there.  Although he is no longer driving, or using email, he still is enthusiastic about singing in the Community Chorus and Unitarian Church Choir.  He mostly spends his days reading, snuggling with his dog Jordy and taking it easy.  He no longer uses email, so if you'd like to get in touch with him, you can do so through this website, or his wife Carol Henrie at reachus@pacbell.net or at 510 209-3729 (tel:510 209-3729).

The doctor has encouraged the family to keep him active and busy, so any time he can go and paint or go for a drive will help.  Please share this link with friends and family you think might want to help and stay updated.
