In the middle of November, Rhonda had been doctoring and receiving PT for some back and neck pain. She ended up having an MRI, which indicated that she has a pinched nerve. The doctor reading the MRI noticed a “mass” on the lower left part of her brain. They called her immediately to come back and do another MRI of the full brain. That MRI concluded that there was a mass 1.5 cm by 1.5cm by 1.5cm in the lower left part of her brain, and it was localized to that area, no fingering into the cerebellum (a body scan was also done to rule out that this would be a secondary tumor and it came back clear). After MANY conversations, Rhonda and the family decide to get a second opinion and went to Allina Health (Abbott). It is there that we have started her journey.
