Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Thank you for visiting my caring bridge site.  I hope this will be helpful to keep all our friends and family informed as I begin this cancer journey once again.   15 years ago I had breast cancer, I went through a few doses of chemotherapy and had a mastectomy.  I thought I was a breast cancer survivor!   Now 15 years later, I have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that has gone to my liver.   After many lab tests, ultrasound, MRI, and liver biopsy, they have found a large mass on my liver which is positive for breast cancer cells.  I will be seeking treatment again at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, and will be able to see the oncologist that treated me for my original breast cancer.  My first appointment is Tuesday, October 20.  As you can all guess, this has thrown Steve and I into a tailspin, canceling plans for vacations, and our winter in Florida.    We have already seen God at work in all this, and as we move forward, we are trusting God to lead the way.   Continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we start this difficult journey.
Much love to all of you.
