Hi everyone! With social media, we know that the word will eventually get out. Mom was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer about two weeks ago. She has an amazing oncologist who has gotten the ball rolling incredibly fast. Mom will go get her port inserted on Thursday (6-22), and start treatment this Friday (6-23). The plan is to do chemo once every three weeks, and have a total of six treatments done all together.  Mom is doing extremely well, and plans to kick cancers butt every step of the way!
