Today I got the news all women dread: breast cancer.
Apparently, I get to collect yet another ribbon on my life uniform. I already have a green one (mental illness), a red one (heart attack) and now pink.
I choose to see this as yet another task I can tackle. Not without fear. But I will do my best to do it with grace, as much dignity as this awful disease will allow and with my faith in God.
