Rex Schoening

Hi! My name is Rex Kashton Schoening. I was born in the early morning on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. I have 2 older siblings, Lev Benjamin-3 and Kenzie Leann- almost 2. My mommy and daddy are Elias & Rachel Schoening and we live at Pecos, Texas.
Tuesday morning my mommy got a phone call that maybe there was something wrong with my heart. (enlarged ventricle) They were sent to Odessa for more testing and that's where I was born the next day. The drs and nurses were so nice and let me cuddle awhile with mommy and daddy even tho they didn't know what was wrong yet. After awhile they did tell them that I would need to go see some special drs for my heart. They decided they wanted me to go to University Hospital in San Antonio. In the afternoon a helicopter flew me to San Antonio while daddy and mommy went home to get some clothes, see my siblings a bit, and meet me at the big hospital.. They say I sure am a cutie!
