Hello,
i just wanted to let you know how I am doing.   I went to see Dr. Moran, who is a hematologist and oncologist this morning thinking that I would be getting some blood work done to check for a possible infection, but he check for cancers of the lymph system, etc.   he concluded that most of the cause of the symptoms that were exhibited had to do with the two subdural hematoma's.   That was good news.

At this point the headaches are bearable.  I have not taken any pain medication for about five days which actually seems to generally make me feel better.  A couple of times I have taken a acetaminophen.    I have learned that I do not do well with narcotics.   

i have been trying to walk outside a bit each day and then rest.   The world without TV, books, or other devices for all these many days has been interesting.

I feel so held in the teaching, and the love, meditations, prayers that have been landing in my heart and soul, that it is very difficult to find words to express my thanks.   Also, actually inviting the pain into this loving holding has been such a gift.  The sweetness of my fiends who have appeared with food, great ideas, and also telling me to be quiet and rest, has been such a sweet blessing.   

An interesting beginning to this New Year.
