I have been diagnosed with Small Cell lung cancer. Off and on this past summer I had pains on my front left side of my lower rib cage. I dismissed it because it would go away. In the fall I was diagnosed with pneumonia and had it treated with antibiotics. It didn’t seem to want to go away and the pain was back and getting worse so I went back in for another check up. I was then sent in for a CT scan and the results came back with multiple spots on my lungs but I would need a biopsy to know what it was. I had the biopsy on December 6 and on December 10th was told it was Small Cell lung cancer, most likely stage 3 but maybe stage 4. I will go in for a PET Scan December 18th and will know more within the week.
I am deciding to not treat the cancer. I will live out the rest of my days enjoying life, every day that is given to me. Please respect my wishes to do so. It is not up for debate. I have lived a good life and I am confident that when God calls me home I will go to meet Jesus exactly when He has determined. God has given me a wonderful support system of friends and family and I am forever grateful for that. Thank you for your prayers and support.
