Thriving with Metastatic Breast Cancer!


On May 21, 2019,  Renee was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Throughout the month of June, she endured many tests that revealed she had a Grade 3 tumor.  The biopsy and subsequent tests revealed she had Stage 3 breast cancer.  The most prudent course of action was a Double Mastectomy.   Her next steps included chemotherapy and radiation to further rid her body of this insidious  disease.   We were full of hope and promise as her 1 year scan approached. 


Unfortunately, in July 2020, a brain tumor was detected. Their worst nightmares were realized as they discovered that her breast cancer had metastasized to her brain. This journal began with her breast cancer diagnosis and is continuing as they navigate a new world of stage 4 cancer treatments. 


We ask for your continued prayers for Renee, Jamie and Mason, as we continue this fight. For all of you that know Renee, she loves her family very much.  She is confident that she will not surrender to this this ugly disease, but knows that your loving prayers play a crucial role in her fight.
