Welcome to Caring Bridge. We are using this site to keep everyone updated at the same time and in the same place. Some of you know Ron's story well, while others have recently joined us in one way or another on this journey. In August 1996 Ron was diagnosed with kidney cancer. His right kidney was removed in September 1996. Little did we know that this was the first step on a journey of 20 years. Through the years he has had several types of cancers, prostate, colon, bladder, ureter. He has had undergone frequent scans and interventions. From January - May 2015 Ron returned to Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute for chemotherapy. Recently tumors have been discovered in his ureters, lymph node, bladder, and in June 2016 he was diagnosed with a serious brain cancer. Many of you have walked with us a different stops on the path. We are asking you walk with us once again, this time the path is harder, and the walk shorter. For believers, we know this will be a transition to a new journey. Will you walk with us?
