On June 27th, Regina went into the ER at St. Peter’s after falling and not being able to get up and feeling like she was falling to the left for the past couple of weeks. After numerous hours of waiting and running tests they discovered she has a mass (tumor) on her frontal lobe of her brain, which is operable. Meeting with the team of doctors at the hospital she is going to undergo brain surgery on July 3rd to remove the tumor. They are confident that they will be able to remove it and think that is a secondary location from her lung cancer that she survived in 2014. After the tumor is removed a plan of treatment will be put in place to treat the area either radiation or chemo.
We ask everyone for thoughts and prayers that Regina is able to have the strength to get through the surgery and yet again survive cancer. We will keep everyone updated through this site. 💗
