My name is Nancy Issen and I am a Medical Assistant at Orlando Health. I currently work with Regina (whom you all know). For those of you who do not know, Regina has been with Orlando Health since 1989 and full-time for the last year and a half. She works beside Dr. Gerber as his nurse. She has five grandchildren, four of which currently live with her. She currently is taking care of the four children. Regina has recently been open with me about some health concerns that have been going on with her. She will be having a big surgery tomorrow (Friday 9/22/2017). Right now she has told me she will likely be home by Monday, but this surgery is a long recovery. I wanted to take this time to reach out to our Orlando Health Family here at our Urology department and let everyone know I've created this webpage for her to keep in contact, for updates regarding where she is and how she is doing, along with just sharing your support during this time. On this site I'd also like to use it to set up a meal train for her, as of right now she should be home by Monday which is also her oldest Grandchild's 16th birthday. We can use it so people can sign up to bring her and her family dinners for a little bit until she is further into her recovery. Any little bit helps during this time.
