Thanks for visiting my page. I'm Becky, Rebecca.. either one you want to call me. I was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer on August 2017. Had surgery for a colon resection where they took my ascending and part of transverse colon where the primary tumor was. I also have metastatis through out my abdomen, right lung and paratracheal area. Currently doing chemo every other week and may be changing to targeted therapy soon. I was sent to dfw area oncologist for a second opinion of sorts and the targeted therapy is what he suggested but my local onc wanted to wait a little bit. Not to spend up all my options so fast. Its scary knowing or thinking if the next thing doesn't work I'll run out of options. I want to keep fighting. The plan was to get me to a point where I can get the hipec procedure and eventually have n.e.d. thank you for reading. Updates coming soon. I posted my first blog already before i saw that I could put my story here... btw. I want to add. Im a mom to 2 boys and a girl and have 4 grandkids that call me mamaw.. Alot to fight for. ❤
