Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Hopefully this site will help in keeping all of my mother Becki’s friends (and I do mean many many of my mom’s friends. She is one blessed woman to have so many that love her) informed. As you may or may not know Mom has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just recently. Total shock to us all - we are still trying to wrap our heads around this. Mom had a procedure on Monday Jan. 29 where they put a shunt in her bile duct because the tumor was pressing on the duct and she was becoming jaundice. We stayed up at uva and came home on Tuesday. She started having pain Tuesday night so went to ER and they transported her back to uva. She had pancreatis and stayed there til Friday. She is back home and doing okay. She still is alittle weak but hopefully feeling better. Feb 2
