For the past 9 years our Dad has been fighting Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia).  His First round of chemo in 2008 put his disease into remission for 5 years.  We have always known that his disease coming back was not a matter of IF but a matter of WHEN.  Dads second bout with his disease came in late 2013.  Once again the chemotherapy put the disease into remission but not for long.  In August 2016 his disease once again returned.  For the past 6 months Dad has been on a chemo regimen.  The plan has been to get his disease into remission and move directly to a Bone Marrow Transplant...our only chance for a cure from his disease.  The past 6 months have been filled with anxiety, waiting, prayer and fasting.  We see the Lords hand in our lives.  We know that He is mindful of each one of us.  We know that He will be with us every step of the way.  There will be many rough days, weeks and months ahead but as a family we are ready.


We have faith in the team of doctors that will be overseeing Dads care.  We are grateful to the many people that have offered service, words of encouragement as well as prayers in our behalf.  We are especially grateful to a 45 year old male living somewhere in the world that is selflessly giving of himself to help Dad live a longer life with us.
