Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We've created it to keep friends and family updated about our loved one. Get started by reading the introduction to our website, My Story.

Visit often to read the latest journal entries, visit the photo gallery, and write us a note in our guestbook.

So many of you have asked about Randy. We appreciate your prayers and concerns so much. We are trying really hard to stay positive, especially for our children, and not dwell on the cancer. In some ways it seems so impersonal to put updates on the computer but it seems the easiest way to get the word to those who are concerned. It also allows us to try to keep life around home as 'normal' as possible with more time spent with our children and less time spent sending emails and making phonecalls. I hope you understand.

This all started about in September 2009 when Randy finally got tired of having knee pain and went to see Dr. Frazier Jones. He figured it was probably wear and tear and that he just needed a steroid injection or scope and he'd be good to go. Well, Frazier in his wisdom ordered an MRI which showed some abnormal results. He ordered an MRI of the other knee which showed more abnormal results. After more tests, he sent Randy to Birmingham. The doctor was stumped as to what it might be so a bone biopsy was performed. We found out that he has Multiple Myeloma. We decided to go to Little Rock for treatment. Randy underwent an intense round of chemotherapy in November 2009. His follow-up visits in January and April of 2010 showed no active disease. However, when he returned in December, 2010, new cancerous lesions were found in his right tibia and left femur.

We have seen God's hand throughout this short journey and I know He will continue to hold us close. We serve a big God and He loves us all more than we can fathom. We appreciate your prayers.  (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#)
