Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Randy was admitted to John Cochran VA hospital on Friday, August 4th.  His stomach was extended, he was confused, and could not walk more than a few feet.  Randy has battled liver cancer for almost a year.  His first chemo was September 2016. On July 26, 2017 he had chemo placed on a new tumor.  On July 31, 2017 he had his 2.5 liters of fluid removed from his stomach.  The following days were very tiring and his condition worsened.   On August 1, 2017, Randy had a pet scan.  The pet scan showed cancer throughout his body.  On August 8, 2017 a biopsy indicated the cancer is lymphoma.  Currently, the actual type of lymphoma is still being analyzed.  Karen and Randy are grateful for the continuous flow of prayers and positive thoughts.
