As many of you know, Randi has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Colon Cancer.

This summer Randi noticed she was feeling unusually tired and weak.  At the end of June Randi was surprised she was too weak to complete the last 2 holes of golf and asked Austin to finish for her.  She also found she had no endurance when she'd go jogging.  On July 10th Randi came to Aly's house to help with her new baby.  While she was there Randi grew weaker and developed an ache on her side.  By the end of her stay Randi could no longer run, had developed a light cough and was out of breath.  On the 25th Randi had some blood work done in San Clemente to see what could be causing her to feel so terrible.  Randi learned she was very anemic.  A few days later Randi learned from her doctor that her anemia could possibly be related to colon cancer.  From there she had an ultrasound, CT Scan and then a colonoscopy.  All of which revealed Randi has a small tumor in the upper region of her colon which had metastasized to her liver and her lungs.  The cancer in Randi's liver would explain the aching on her side.  And from there begins Randi's journey to beat cancer.
