Raleigh Wood

Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  We are using this sight to update family and friends of Raleigh's progress.  On Friday, August 26, 2016, Raleigh had a few mild seizures.  After tests, he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, on his right frontal lobe.  On Tuesday, August 30, he had surgery to remove the tumor.  99-100% of the tumor was removed and he has been recovering well from surgery.  As soon as he recovers, he  will begin radiation and chemotherapy treatment.  It is amazing how far he has come in little over a week's time.  We know this is because of God's continued care and blessing and your faithful prayers.  We are so thankful to Almighty God and to you, as well.  We have made the pledge to trust Him no matter what as we travel this journey.  God is good all the time!
