Raina is currently in a battle with stage 4 breast cancer. In December of 2018, Raina noticed a small hard lump in her right breast. After realizing that it wasn’t normal she started a series of tests and doctor appointments. On January 2nd 2019, her greatest fear was confirmed. The tumor in her breast was cancerous and growing at a rapid rate. Immediately she sought treatment at Valley Medical Center. Raina and her family had heard that Seattle Cancer Care Alliance was the best place to be treated for cancer in Washington. Unfortunately the wait to get in would’ve been almost a month. By fate she was able to get in to SCCA by the 14th of January. All about who you know! She was able to start her chemo treatment on January 18th. This is the first day of a long battle that she intends to win. This page will be used to document this journey and also provide updates for friends and family as well as to receive support from them as well.
