On May 31 Rachel was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer.  In the beginning of May Rachel began noticing abdominal  distention. On May 28th Rachel was seen in the urgent care for shortness of breath for approximately 5 days.  Fluid was found in her lungs and she was sent to the ER.  In the ER they ran multiple test including x-ray and CT scans.  In the CT scan is where they found multiple large masses on her ovaries.  The fluid was removed from her lungs and was sent for pathology.  On May 31 they found malignant cells in the fluid from her lung and there she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  
Rachel is a strong person who will always fight. She appreciates all the prayers and love that she has received since her diagnosis.  She will continue to fight and beat her cancer!
